Job Description

We’re looking for a dedicated Nursery Housekeeper to support our team in maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout our nursery setting.

Job Responsibility

Ensuring all areas of the nursery are clean, tidy, and well presented
Cleaning toilets, nappy changing areas, and staff areas regularly
Managing laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding
Maintaining stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies
Supporting staff in keeping rooms tidy and safe for children
Adhering to health and safety and infection control standards at all times

Requirements

Takes pride in their work and has an eye for detail
Is reliable, organised, and proactive
Understands the importance of cleanliness in a childcare setting
Can work independently as well as part of a team
Has previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
Be eligible to work in regulated roles- not on the Children’s Barred List
Successfully complete background and reference checks
