Job Description:

This position is responsible for cleaning all areas of the casinos to ensure the health and safety of everyone. The housekeeper’s main function is to provide and maintain overall cleanliness of the casino.

Job Responsibility:

Clean all assigned areas within the casino building, offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, event areas, outside grounds and parking areas
Follow all safety requirements for use of chemicals, cleaners, tools, and equipment
Greet guests and team members eagerly
Assist with guest questions regarding promotions, events, specials, areas, and locations
Maintain attendance to ensure coverage
Perform duties in accordance with company policies, tribal objectives, and gaming regulations
Maintain departmental logs noting unusual occurrences, incidents, equipment failures, safety issues, etc.
Keep informed of company information and communications

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Guest Services experience preferred
Inventory and clothing retail experience preferred
Must be punctual and dependable
Read, write, and speak the English language
Active listening skills
Problem sensitivity
Inductive reasoning
Selective attention
Ability to perform assigned tasks under supervision
Must be willing and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to provide documents to work in the United States
Must pass a drug test
Must obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Otoe Missouria Gaming Commission
Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs and push/pull/drag up to 50 lbs
Must be able to stand for extended periods

Nice to have:

Guest Services experience
Inventory and clothing retail experience
