Adept Care Homes is a family-run provider of residential and residential dementia care across the Midlands, supporting residents to live enriched, happy, and fulfilled lives within a friendly and caring environment. We are seeking a Housekeeper to join the team at Bowood Court, our welcoming 59-bed residential care home in Enfield, Redditch, where you will take pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, infection prevention, and laundry care. The role involves attention to detail in tasks such as vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, polishing, deep cleans, and ensuring a consistent supply of clean linen, towels, and residents’ personal clothing, while also enjoying positive interaction with residents and upholding our Adept family values of kindness, ownership, and clear communication.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, infection prevention, and laundry care
  • Attention to detail in tasks such as vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, polishing, deep cleans
  • Ensuring a consistent supply of clean linen, towels, and residents’ personal clothing
  • Enjoying positive interaction with residents
  • Upholding family values of kindness, ownership, and clear communication

Requirements:

  • Previous Housekeeping experience (desirable)
  • Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • Positive and caring attitude (essential)
  • Attention to detail (essential)
