We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team at our luxury resort. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation in guest rooms and suites, ensuring every guest enjoys a pristine and welcoming environment. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional guest experiences through meticulous attention to detail and efficient work practices.
Job Responsibility:
Thoroughly clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms and suites daily, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
Make beds to hotel standards, change and replace bed linens, duvets, and pillows as needed
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including scrubbing toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, mirrors, and replenishing amenities
Remove and replace used towels, bathmats, and toiletries
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and all surfaces
Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items immediately to the supervisor
Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services with a courteous and professional attitude
Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a neat and organized manner
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment
Adhere to resort sustainability initiatives, such as linen reuse programs and energy conservation
Occasionally assist with deep cleaning projects, turndown service, or public area touch-ups as directed
Requirements:
1-2 Years Experience in Housekeeping
Previous experience as a Housekeeper or Room Attendant in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality setting is strongly preferred (training provided for enthusiastic candidates with related cleaning experience)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high cleanliness standards
Physical ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills to clean a required number of rooms within allotted timeframes
Positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality

Good communication skills and a guest-focused mindset
Basic English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be legally eligible to work in the Cayman Islands (preference given to Caymanians and Permanent Residents)
