The Housekeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property's office, public restrooms, pool areas, and common spaces with duties including but not limited to mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal. This role involves keeping track of cleaning supply inventory, reporting issues to the Property Manager, and taking pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
Job Responsibility:
Clean the resort office, public restrooms and pool areas including mopping, dusting, vacuuming and removing trash
Clean showers and laundry areas twice daily (beginning and end of work shift)
Lightly cleaning of up to 9 rental cabins a day (no beds or bathrooms)
Keep common areas clean and maintain them to our standards
Keep track of cleaning supply inventory and request refills as needed
Report any maintenance concerns for repairs in common areas to the Property Manager
Work closely with management to maintain open communications
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
At least 1 year of previous housekeeping experience in a hospitality environment
High School Diploma or GED
Motivated and dedicated to serving customers and a job well done
Must be able to maintain high standards and work safely
Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
Must be within commuting distance from the property
Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically
Physically able to stand and navigate around the property for extended periods of time
Able to work in changing environmental conditions throughout the year, work activities can occur inside and outside
Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 10 pounds
