In the role of Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the Community interior, including residents' apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner.
Job Responsibility
Provide general housekeeping for both the Community as a whole and individual resident apartments
Vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
Cleaning and defrost refrigerators, cleaning and checking heat system filters, changing the bed and linens, ensuring adequate linen supplies in each apartment
Turn mattress as necessary and empty waste baskets
Provide deep cleaning of apartments as needed
Launder all linens
Follow Company sanitation and safety procedures
Greet residents and guests
Serve beverages, cereals, and/or soups/salads
Review the menu, take resident orders, and serve meals and desserts
Assist with storage of perishable items
Deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals and reset for the next meal following proper sanitizing procedures
Complete side work such as filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, cleaning coffeemaker
May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
Requirements
Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time)
Strong organization and time management skills
Basic computer skills
