Job Description:

In the role of Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion
Provide general housekeeping for the Community and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed and linens, ensure adequate linen supplies, turn mattress, empty waste baskets
Provide deep cleaning of apartments as needed
Launder all linens
Follow Company sanitation and safety procedures
Greet residents and guests, serve beverages, cereals, soups/salads
Review menu, take resident orders, serve meals and desserts
Return cart to kitchen, assist with storage of perishable items, deliver trays to resident rooms
Bus and clear dishes, reset tables, sanitize tables and chairs, vacuum carpets
Complete side work (fill sugar holders, replenish creamers, clean coffeemaker)
Perform other duties as needed

Requirements:

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time)
Strong organization and time management skills
Basic computer skills
