Housekeeper Job at 7 Clans Casinos (Newkirk)

Job Description

This position is responsible for cleaning all areas of the casinos to ensure the health and safety of everyone. All positions within 7 CLANS CASINOS are responsible for the overall maintaining of excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and providing an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace. All positions within the Enterprise require attention to quality guest services skills and exceptional team work. The housekeeper’s main function is to provide and maintain overall cleanliness of the casino.

Job Responsibility

Clean all areas of the casinos to ensure health and safety
Maintain overall cleanliness of the casino
Clean assigned areas within the physical structure of the building, casino floor, offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, event areas, outside grounds and parking areas
Follow all safety requirements for use of chemicals, cleaners, tools, and equipment
Greet guest and team members eagerly
Assist with guest questions regarding promotions, events, specials, areas, and locations
Maintain attendance to ensure coverage
Perform duties in accordance with company handbook, tribal objectives, policies, procedures, controls, and applicable laws and gaming regulations
Maintain Departmental log(s) noting unusual occurrences, incidents, equipment failures, safety issues, disputes, etc.
Keep informed of company information and communications

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Guest Services experience preferred
Inventory and clothing retail experience preferred
Must be punctual and dependable
Read, write, and speak the English language

Obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Otoe Missouria Gaming Commission
Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs. and push, pull or drag up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
