Job Responsibility:

  • Under direction of the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor, performs general cleaning throughout the facility
  • Cleans floors, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing
  • Cleans and stocks bathrooms
  • Dusts areas that contain furniture, such as offices
  • Cleans windows.

Requirements:

  • At least one-year experience in a housekeeping or janitorial position
  • Safe work practices
  • General cleaning procedures
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
  • Skill to operate radio devices
  • Skill to operate equipment, scrubbers (riding and walk behind), sweepers (riding), vacuums, etc.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend and lift 25lbs. throughout the day
  • May be required to work with hazardous chemicals/materials
  • Must be able to pass background.
