Job Responsibility

  • Is a steward of the Woodhouse brand and abides by all established protocols
  • Maintains all location laundry needs, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
  • Ensures the spa is stocked with fresh linens, robes, and textiles at all times
  • Performs general cleaning tasks including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping (hardwood, laminate, tiled floors), and vacuuming
  • Manages waste disposal by emptying receptacles daily to avoid odors and sanitizing bins as needed
  • Monitors supplies and replenishes paper towels, toilet tissue, and hand soap dispensers daily
  • Supports hospitality by ensuring glasses, teacups, and utensils are washed and returned to storage
  • Reports repairs and replacements to management immediately when encountered

Requirements

  • Basic education regarding the responsibilities and duties of the role is required
  • Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
  • Detail-oriented and organized mindset with the ability to follow verbal commands
  • Strives each day to exceed guest expectations through a commitment to cleanliness
  • Must have effective verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and team members regarding facility needs
  • Ability to follow multi-step instructions and safety protocols for cleaning chemicals
  • Must be physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk for the duration of an assigned shift
  • Must have the ability to stand for long lengths of time
  • Must be able to lift and carry laundry bundles and cleaning equipment as needed
