Job Description:

We are looking for a House Porter to join our dedicated team. As a vital part of our housekeeping department, you will ensure that our public areas, corridors, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will also assist with guest requests and support the housekeeping team in delivering exceptional service throughout the hotel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas, corridors, and service spaces
  • Assist with the delivery and collection of guest amenities, linen, and housekeeping supplies
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, ensuring complete satisfaction
  • Support room attendants and supervisors with operational needs, including moving furniture and handling deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality or housekeeping is desirable but not essential
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, professional approach
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
