As House Porter, you will play a central role in the seamless delivery of the St. Regis guest experience, supporting the Housekeeping operation to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly, professionally and with genuine care while maintaining impeccably organised and fully stocked floor pantries at all times. From delivering amenities and responding to guest requests to supporting the wider Housekeeping team, you will contribute directly to creating a smooth, effortless and refined guest journey through attention to detail, responsiveness and a consistently polished approach within a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, ensuring all items are delivered accurately and with genuine hospitality
  • Deliver guest amenities, linen, towels, baby equipment, rollaway beds and other requested items efficiently
  • Anticipate guest and operational needs, supporting VIP requests and pre-arranged deliveries where possible
  • Stock, organise and maintain all floor pantries, ensuring operational readiness throughout each shift
  • Replenish linen, amenities, cleaning supplies and guest items to required par levels
  • Remove soiled linen, trays and waste discreetly and efficiently from corridors and service areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of floor pantries, linen rooms and back-of-house service areas
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards or damages promptly to the Housekeeping team
  • Ensure safety signage is placed appropriately and removed once areas are safe
  • Maintain professional grooming and a polished appearance at all times
  • Support the wider Housekeeping operation with additional duties as required
  • Follow all company health, safety and operational procedures consistently

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Housekeeping, House Porter or operational support roles, ideally within a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and guest service standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organisation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standards environment
  • Strong organisational skills, ensuring floor pantries and operational areas remain fully stocked and presentable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional approach
  • A proactive mindset, anticipating guest and operational needs throughout the shift
  • Ability to remain calm, responsive and service-focused during busy periods
  • Impeccable personal presentation aligned with luxury brand standards
  • Physical capability to carry out the operational demands of the role, including lifting, moving and transporting supplies
