Job Description

King’s College, Soto de Viñuelas, the flagship school of the King’s Group, is seeking a dedicated and caring Part-Time House Parent to support our boarding students. This role is ideal for someone already fulfilling a teaching or other role within the school, or with coaching responsibilities, who wishes to contribute to the pastoral care of our boarders. The House Parent will help ensure a safe, supportive, and structured environment for students, enabling them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Accommodation is provided as part of the role, and the position involves some evening and weekend duties.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide pastoral care and supervision for boarding students in the house
  • Support students’ welfare, wellbeing, and personal development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe boarding environment
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, house staff, and other school colleagues
  • Support students in managing routines, study time, and co-curricular activities
  • Participate in evening and weekend supervision duties as required
