Job Description:

Are you organised, reliable, and passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment? Join our dedicated team at Bolton Hospital as a part-time Housekeeper!

Job Responsibility:

  • Cleaning both staff and clinical areas, such as consulting rooms, waiting room and communal spaces to a high standard
  • Handling clinical waste in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Adhering to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) guidelines
  • Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in line with hospital protocols
  • Accountability for performing weekly health and safety checks and reporting as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in cleaning or housekeeping (preferably in a medical or clinical setting, but not essential)
  • Knowledgeable about or willing to learn COSHH and clinical waste handling
  • Willing to take on responsibility for regular health and safety checks such as fire alarm and legionella testing and reporting
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work
  • Can work independently and manage time effectively
