Job Description:

Metropolis Resort is currently accepting applications for our hotel utility/laundry position! Our hotel utility and laundry team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations and overall cleanliness of the hotel and the connecting parks.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks in various areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, and back-of-house areas
  • Help clean Action City/Chaos dinning rooms and bathrooms as needed
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment including washers and dryers
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items
  • Work closely with other hotel staff to ensure efficient operations
  • Be willing to work in various areas of the hotel, including different shifts and weekends

  • Prepare and distribute invoices for aging balances within designated billing cycles, including 30- to 60-day accounts
  • Transfer chargeback information to tracking tools so follow-up collection activity can be completed by the appropriate staff
