Job Description:

Hotel Services Assistant joining our large, diverse team who are proud of the difference we make to our residents you will have a varied role covering Food Services, Host and Housekeeping Assistant.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with the preparation of food as directed
  • Ensure sound knowledge of food to be served
  • Listen to residents and report any complaints or requests
  • Adhere to all Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
  • Clean and maintain kitchen appliances, surfaces and floors as per cleaning schedule
  • Look after laying up of dining areas
  • Greet and assist residents to their tables
  • Take residents food orders and serve lunches in the dining room
  • Inform the kitchen of any specific requests our resident may have
  • Adhere to all EFHL food safety and hygiene standards
  • Conduct general cleaning of all areas including bedrooms, lounges, dining areas, toilets, bathrooms, offices, corridors, and all fixtures and fittings
  • Adhere to stated cleaning methods observing hygiene practises to prevent cross infection
  • Help other employees as directed
  • Take personal responsibility in becoming fully aware and observant of Health and Safety policy and COSHH reporting any accidents and hazards

Requirements:

  • Prior experience is desirable but not needed
  • Willingness to undergo training
