As our Hotel Reservations Agent, you'll be responsible for handling the reservations process from start to finish for our guests. You'll ensure every guest enjoys a seamless booking experience and that all reservations are accurate, up to date, and processed in line with brand standards. This includes managing reservation systems, responding to guest enquiries via phone, email, and online channels, and liaising with other hotel departments to ensure smooth communication and service delivery. You'll ensure all reservations are correctly recorded, amended where required, and confirmed in a timely manner. You'll also support with managing room availability, rates, and inventory controls, helping to maximise occupancy and revenue performance while maintaining excellent service standards. This position is offered on a 1,248 annualised hours contract. This means your working hours are calculated over the course of the year rather than on a fixed weekly basis. Your shifts will be scheduled according to business needs, allowing flexibility during busier and quieter periods, while ensuring your total contracted hours are met across the year. The benefits of this contract type include greater flexibility in your work-life balance, more variation in shift patterns, and the ability to plan time off more effectively around quieter operational periods, while still having the security of a guaranteed annual hours contract and consistent pay spread across the year.
