Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Reservationist to join our expanding team. This role will be shift work between the hours of 8am to 8pm to help cover a 7 day operation, with a commitment of a minimum 2 weekends every month.

Job Responsibility

  • Handling guest enquiries by phone and email, providing accurate information and friendly assistance
  • Understanding the business and keeping up to date with hotel’s sales selling strategy, policy and promotions
  • Processing reservations efficiently, including new bookings, amendments, and cancellations
  • Managing room availability and ensuring all details are entered correctly into the reservation system
  • Liaising with reception, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals and special requests
  • Supporting guests before their stay with confirmations, payment details, and any pre-arrival needs
  • Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through up-selling.

Requirements

  • Someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys helping guests and providing warm, professional service
  • Strong organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail when managing bookings and guest information
  • A team player who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands
  • Confident using reservation systems and comfortable handling enquiries both over the phone and via email
  • Someone who is passionate about the travel industry and has previous experience in a similar role.
