Job Description:

As a Reception Team Member, you will be the face of our hotel, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your infectious personality and exceptional customer service skills will ensure that every guest feels special and valued throughout their stay. From check-in to check-out, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet guests with a genuine smile and provide a warm welcome upon arrival
  • Efficiently handle check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in all guest transactions
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance guests' experience
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, resolving any issues or complaints with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, including housekeeping, concierge, and food and beverage
  • Stay updated on hotel promotions, packages, and special events to provide guests with accurate and engaging information
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests and their belongings
  • Embrace teamwork and contribute to a positive work environment by actively supporting fellow team members

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding guest expectations
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Proficient computer skills and preferably a familiarity with hotel reservation systems
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
