We are a charming, 40-room boutique hotel nestled in the island of Crete, dedicated to offering our guests an authentic Mediterranean experience paired with 4-star excellence. We are looking for a Hotel Operations Manager who is as passionate about Cretan hospitality (Philoxenia) as they are about operational efficiency. You will be the heartbeat of the hotel, ensuring that every guest feels like royalty and every team member feels like family.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the daily pulse of the property
Balance seamless behind-the-scenes logistics with a visible, welcoming presence for our guests
Manage Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B teams to ensure 4-star standards are consistently met
Act as the primary point of contact for guest relations, turning feedback into opportunities for excellence
Monitor room inventory, manage local supplier relationships, and oversee maintenance schedules
Recruit, train, and inspire a small, dedicated team to deliver personalized service
Assist in budget management, cost control, and maximizing RevPAR through smart operational decisions
Requirements:
At least 3–5 years in a management role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
Fluency in English and Greek is essential
Proficiency with PMS software (e.g., Protel, Mews, or similar) and Microsoft Office
Nice to have:
A third language (German or French) is a major plus
A deep appreciation for Cretan culture and the ability to recommend the best hidden gems to our guests
