Job Description

We are looking for a creative, visionary leader to shape the next chapter at this beautiful 50 bedroom hotel. This is a role for someone who enjoys developing a business, building momentum and creating a culture where people feel supported, trained and inspired to deliver their best every day, and would be ideal for a strong Operations Manager, Head of Department or commercial leader looking for their first Hotel Manager role. With a solid understanding of hotel operations, you will lead from the front, inspiring and supporting your team to deliver outstanding experiences at every stage of the guest journey. Creative thinking, commercial drive and a genuine commitment to developing, supporting and inspiring your team will serve you well as you lead this fantastic property. This role reports to the Area General Manager.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing budgets and controlling expenditure
  • Recruiting, training and managing hotel employees
  • Developing the team of committed HODs, preparing them for their next step, while ensuring a succession plan is in place for each role
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and licensing laws, as well as maintaining property and amenities
  • Continuously improving business operations through standard procedures, maximising revenue and monitoring employee performance
  • Identifying opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen the hotel's local reputation and maximise the potential of every department
