Job Description:

A renowned luxury resort in Mykonos is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and smooth operation of its extensive facilities. In this role, you will work closely with the hotel’s management team and lead a dedicated maintenance crew to ensure the property remains in impeccable condition, offering guests a safe, comfortable, and unforgettable experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive maintenance schedule, including preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of the maintenance team, providing guidance, support, and training where necessary
  • Conduct regular inspections of all resort facilities (guest rooms, public areas, technical spaces, etc.) to identify and address any maintenance issues
  • Ensure that all maintenance work complies with internal quality standards and legal health & safety regulations
  • Liaise effectively with other departments (housekeeping, front office, food & beverage) to respond to and resolve maintenance requests promptly
  • Manage and monitor the inventory of maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper upkeep
  • Collaborate with external contractors, technicians, and service providers, maintaining cost-effective and high-quality relationships
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
  • Report directly to the Hotel Manager and actively participate in team meetings and operational planning

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality or resort sector
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related technical field
  • Proven experience in managing a team and coordinating maintenance operations in a high-standard environment
  • Familiarity with relevant safety and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Strong knowledge of technical systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and fire safety
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays when needed
