This is a rare opportunity for an experienced maintenance leader to take ownership of a complex, high-visibility role — balancing day-to-day operational excellence with longer-term planning, stakeholder engagement and regulatory assurance. This role sits at a pivotal point in the hotel’s lifecycle. As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the property operates seamlessly today, while laying the technical and compliance foundations for a successful refurbishment journey.
Job Responsibility:
Lead all maintenance activity across the hotel
Maintain brand standards for safety, presentation and reliability
Act as a trusted advisor to ownership and senior stakeholders in preparation for future works
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, health & safety legislation, brand audits and inspections
Ensure planned and reactive maintenance is carefully prioritised
Control budgets effectively
Keep disruption to the guest experience to an absolute minimum
Play a key role in sustainable operations as the hotel’s Energy Champion
Support environmental initiatives and long-term efficiency improvements
Requirements:
Proven maintenance leader with experience in hospitality or a similarly complex operational environment
Strong understanding of compliance, building systems and contractor management
Confidence to work with ownership and senior stakeholders in a refurbishment-ready environment
Proactive by nature, comfortable planning ahead and communicating clearly
Ability to set standards, allocate resources and guide your team without needing to be on the tools every day
Strong IT capability and confidence working with property and maintenance systems
