A Hotel Maintenance Engineer who is skilled, dependable, and dedicated to keeping our property running smoothly and looking its best. In this role, you’ll oversee the upkeep and repair of hotel systems, guest rooms, and public areas, ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment. This is an ideal role for a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and supporting a top-tier hospitality experience.
Job Responsibility:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment
Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolutions
Conduct preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and maintain property standards
Troubleshoot and repair guest room issues, including lighting, fixtures, and furniture
Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and repairs
Assist with property improvements, renovations, and special projects as assigned
Ensure safety compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies
Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure guest satisfaction
Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, reporting any needs to management
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
Requirements:
2+ years of maintenance or engineering experience in hospitality, commercial, or residential properties preferred
Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance practices
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication skills and a guest-first approach
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
Must reside in the United States
Ability to lift, push, and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations.
