Job Description:

The Hotel Host – Engineering position at Hyatt Place plays a key part in delivering the signature Hyatt Place experience where relaxed style meets exceptional standards. This role supports the hotel’s operations by ensuring that all facilities, equipment and guest areas are safe, functional and well‑maintained. It’s an opportunity to learn foundational skills in preventive maintenance while contributing directly to guest satisfaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Follow all safety procedures, including key control and chemical handling guidelines
  • Perform daily preventive maintenance tasks throughout the hotel
  • Inspect, clean, and restore guest rooms after maintenance work to meet the hotel's standards
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hotel equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Complete routine maintenance tasks on schedule
  • Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance emergencies
  • Maintain the hotel’s grounds, pool, and building structure
