The Hotel Greeter is responsible for greeting guests and residents, responding to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum satisfaction while providing exceptional service. Handle all guest and resident interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, using name when known, and accommodating special requests whenever possible and resolve guest complaints. Assist with all inquiries in connection with services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices. Know, communicate effectively, and sell activities available in the area, ie. Theatre, the arts, special exhibits, concerts, shows sports, leisure activities, sightseeing tours, etc. and establish close contacts with people in these areas to provide information, ticketing, reservations, etc. for guests. Coordinate activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction. Complete opening and closing procedures and maintain the lobby areas in an orderly manner. Anticipate guest and resident needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

Requirements:
A minimum of one year in guest experience, preferably in a luxury environment
Have a high level of attention to detail and ability to create a quick rapport with others
Must have strong communication skills, and ability to adapt to constant change within the Hotel
Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts
Must be able to work as part of a team
Knowledge of the local Miami area is highly preferred
