The General Maintenance Engineering Lead for the Overnight Night Shift will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. The Engineering Lead will also perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems. Hyatt associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards. Job Responsibility:

  • General maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas
  • General maintenance and repairs in back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work the Overnight shift (11pm-8am) on any day, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift a moderate amount of weight
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and trouble-shooting skills are necessary
  • A minimum of two years building maintenance experience is required

Nice to have:

  • Preferred candidates will have at least two years of general maintenance experience, and at least one year of hotel experience
  • Preferred candidates will be able to read blueprints and schematics
