A General Maintenance Engineer B will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer B will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills. Job Responsibility

  • General maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of previous maintenance experience in a hotel is preferred
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule of afternoon and evening shifts on any day, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift a moderate amount of weight
  • Good verbal communication and problem solving skills are an asset

Nice to have

At least 1 year of previous maintenance experience in a hotel is preferred
