Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for the right candidate to help take our hotel viewership team to the next level. Ideally based in Sydney and reporting to the Global Hotel Distribution Manager, you are a strong problem solver, thorough, detail-oriented and process-driven. You are willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent service to our internal and external teams who rely on us for our over-arching hotel support and expertise.
Job Responsibility:
Build, maintain and audit rate access codes and tables in the Global Distribution System (GDS) and POS tools for consortia and client-negotiated hotel programs
Provide internal/external customer support and troubleshooting for rate availability, access and booking procedures for hotel programs in the GDS and POS tools, including the Corporate Hotel Platform
Create rate loading instructions and distribute as required
Assist with hotel program rate audits to identify technical errors such as incorrect pseudo cities, misspellings, mapping of access program table errors or omissions
Maintain account information in Salesforce and other CRM tools to provide accurate global view of data
Support all new business implementations, GDS conversions or de-implementations
Process Corporate Hotel Platform onboarding requests via the ADF process
Provide hotel viewership and auditing process training as global SME to internal/external customers
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years GDS experience, including essential knowledge of GDS hotel formats
Preferred knowledge of hotel viewership process in GDSs (Amadeus, Sabre and Galileo), including the use of Amadeus CRS, Galileo POS Tables, and Sabre HIC/HST tables
Salesforce and Online Booking Tool (OBT) understanding
Preferred knowledge of OBT hotel preferencing
Basic knowledge of Corporate TMC environment
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally when required
Flexibility to work outside of standard hours occasionally to accommodate meetings across different time zones
