Job Description

Our client, a luxury hotel in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking an experienced Concierge Associate to join their team immediately on a temporary basis through the end of March. The ideal candidate will have prior NYC luxury concierge experience and a passion for delivering elevated, personalized guest service. The Concierge Associate is responsible for providing exceptional, anticipatory service that consistently exceeds guest expectations. This role serves as a key ambassador of the hotel, ensuring guests enjoy seamless, memorable, and highly personalized experiences throughout their stay.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver warm, professional, and proactive service to all guests, creating a welcoming and refined hotel experience
  • Arrange and confirm restaurant reservations, transportation, private cars, limousines, rental cars, and special requests
  • Assist with airline ticket arrangements and reconfirmations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of NYC points of interest, attractions, events, dining, and entertainment
  • Coordinate special occasions and amenities (birthdays, anniversaries, VIP arrivals, etc.)
  • Set up and manage customized guest packages, including pre-arrival concierge calls and specialized amenities
  • Handle guest requests such as flowers, parcels, luggage forwarding, special deliveries, and telegrams
  • Ensure timely delivery of mail, packages, and amenities to guest rooms
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping and other departments to maintain lobby and public areas to luxury standards
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly and accurately
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Prior luxury hotel concierge experience in NYC is required
  • Strong knowledge of Midtown Manhattan and surrounding neighborhoods
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a polished, professional demeanor
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable standing for the duration of scheduled shifts
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
