Hotel Accountant

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in P&L statements and balance sheets
• Partner with the Director of Finance to provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving profitability
• Manage compliance with Marriott policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements
• Support internal and external audits, maintaining a robust internal control framework
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and contribute to property-wide financial strategies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (hospitality experience preferred)
• Strong financial knowledge and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership qualities to guide and support finance associates
