Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess F&B to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
  • Assist with special requests and accommodate dietary requirements
  • Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
  • Coordinate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service
  • Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of menu items and daily specials
  • Assist in organising and overseeing special events or promotions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer literacy for managing reservations and using point-of-sale systems
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Understanding of hospitality industry practices
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the restaurant as needed
  • Proficiency in English

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable
  • Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
