Job Description:

Host position at Four Points by Sheraton Auckland, responsible for greeting and seating guests, maintaining dining room cleanliness and organization, ensuring proper table settings, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to company standards and safety procedures.

Job Responsibility:

Greet guests and determine the number in their party
Seat guests by finding clean, available tables
Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance
Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
Ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins, clean silverware
Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful
Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety
Follow company safety and security policies
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear professional language
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry objects up to 10 pounds

Requirements:

No related work experience
