As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire visit. This part-time, permanent position is crucial to ensuring smooth front-of-house operations and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Your role will contribute directly to the positive reputation and continued success of East Coast Concepts.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise flow and minimise wait times
Maintain an organised and tidy reception and waiting area
Assist with answering phone calls, taking bookings, and responding to guest enquiries
Coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Handle guest feedback with professionalism and escalate issues where necessary
Support the team during busy periods by assisting with general front-of-house duties as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer-facing role within catering, hospitality or similar industries is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively
Ability to stay calm and professional in busy or challenging situations
Basic IT skills to manage bookings and reservations systems
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
A passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
