Job Description:

The Host or Hostess is responsible for greeting guests, assisting with seating arrangements, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. The role also involves ensuring adherence to company policies and guest satisfaction standards, while collaborating with a supportive team.

Job Responsibility:

Greet guests and determine the number in their party
seat guests and provide needed assistance
move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
ensure place settings are appropriate and menus are clean and wrinkle-free
maintain cleanliness of work areas
monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, and guest well-being
report safety incidents
adhere to safety and security policies
ensure professional appearance and behavior
listen and respond to employee and guest concerns
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience required
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
ability to follow safety policies and quality standards
ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
use of professional language and behavior.
