This role involves welcoming and seating guests, ensuring dining room readiness, maintaining cleanliness, adherence to safety and company standards, and providing excellent guest service.
Job Responsibility:
Greet guests and determine the number in their party
seat guests by finding a clean, available table
guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance
move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
organize seating for groups with special needs
ensure appropriate place settings for guests with napkins and silverware
check and maintain cleanliness of menus
maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
follow company policies and procedures
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
complete safety training and certifications
maintain professionalism and confidentiality
provide excellent guest service
Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
no license or certification
Nice to have:
Ability to communicate clearly using professional language
ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
