Job Description:

The Host/Hostess at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, guiding them to their seating, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas, monitoring guest seating and safety, and adhering to company policies and standards of excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Greet guests and determine the number in their party
seat guests by finding a clean, available table and placing current menu in front of guest
guide guests through the dining rooms and provide needed assistance
move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs
check menus to ensure they are current, clean, and wrinkle-free
maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures
monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, and guest safety
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
no related work experience required
no supervisory experience required.
