The Host/ Hostess is the first impression and welcome to the guest. This position requires a friendly and calm demeanor in a sometimes hectic and demanding environment. Must be able to focus on the guest experience and read the pace of the restaurant and lounge to seat as efficiently as possible.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate all reservations for Restaurant, Bar and Terrace in accordance with guidelines
Correctly greet and seat guests in Restaurant, Bar and Terrace and provide impeccable service
Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
Comply with all Four Seasons' policies and procedures
Quickly assess guests' needs and flex style appropriately
Use the guests' names whenever possible
Build and maintain rapport with regular guests as well as cultivating relationships with new patrons
Requirements:
Hospitality spirit to connect with guests
Friendly and Calm Demeanor
Previous experience in Food and Beverage roles and employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
Strong communication skills
