Job Responsibility:

  • Ensures physician’s diet orders are met by maintaining current and accurate patient card files and following specific standards for diet compliance
  • Processing Diet Orders
  • Utilizes CBORD and Care Connection to achieve meal selection, process diet orders and changes
  • Communication

  • Provides high quality patient service in distributing patient trays and nourishments

Requirements:

  • 6 months to 1 year experience in hospitality industry or customer service experience preferable
  • Ability to speak, read and write English clearly and proficiently
  • Basic Computer skills (ie data entry)
  • Math skills: conversions of oz, cc, ml
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Flexible work hours between 5:00 A.M. and 8:30 P.M. including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to walk for significant periods of time when going to patient’s rooms
  • Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously especially during peak hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance and/or 10 to 15 pounds frequently
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
