The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests upon arrival, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of patrons into the dining area. The Hostess plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring guests are seated comfortably. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome guests as they enter the establishment with a friendly and courteous demeanor
Manage the seating of guests according to the availability
Handle reservations
Manage waitlists and provide accurate wait time estimates
Take incoming calls, provide information about the restaurant, and assist with reservations or inquiries
Assist guests with requests, provide information about menu options
Address guest concerns or issues professionally
Requirements:
Fluency in both Spanish and English
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in the Food & Beverage industry
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a luxury hotel or a similar high-end hospitality environment
Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk around the establishment for the duration of the shift
Must maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times
Current work authorization in Mexico
