Job Description:

Join the Food & Beverage team at one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, Desert Mountain Club, as a Host / Hostess! In this role, you are responsible for creating an excellent first impression. Greet guests as soon as they walk through the door in a friendly and professional manner, seat guests, and communicate accordingly with the other service staff.

Job Responsibility:

Greet members and guests entering and leaving the restaurant with a warm welcome, name recognition, and a fond farewell
Seat guests
Responsible for fair rotation of cover counts
Maintain cleanliness of menus and host stand area and ensure all menus and wine lists are current
Communicate special requests i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, and allergies
Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Prior restaurant experience is preferred

6 months public contact and/or food and beverage work experience
Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Excellent communication skills
Experience with computers
Ability to handle a variety of rapidly changing priorities and remain calm and professional while seating 400 - 600 guests for lunch and dinner
