Job Description:

Host/Hostess position at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, part of Marriott International. Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating them, and ensuring high-quality service while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to company standards. Job Responsibility:

Greet guests and determine the number in their party
seat guests by finding a clean, available table and placing menu in front of guests
guide guests through the dining areas and provide needed assistance
move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
ensure proper place settings
maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, and well-being of guests
follow company and safety policies
report accidents or unsafe conditions
complete safety training
answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
