Float Host/Hostess. We are seeking a Host/Hostess PM shifts. Shift Coverage: Evening: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. This position includes rotating weekends and rotating holidays. Part time. Hours Per Week: 20.
Job Responsibility:
Ensures physician’s diet orders are met by maintaining current and accurate patient card files and following specific standards for diet compliance
Processing Diet Orders
Utilizes CBORD and Care Connection to achieve meal selection, process diet orders and changes

Provides high quality patient service in distributing patient trays and nourishments

Documents calorie counts for designated patients
Performs additional miscellaneous duties, communicating status to supervisor
Requirements:
6 months to 1 year experience in hospitality industry or customer service experience preferable
Ability to speak, read and write English clearly and proficiently
Basic Computer skills (ie data entry)
Math skills: conversions of oz, cc, ml
Ability to communicate effectively
Flexible work hours between 5:00 A.M. and 8:30 P.M. including weekends and holidays
Ability to walk for significant periods of time when going to patient’s rooms
Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously especially during peak hours
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance and/or 10 to 15 pounds frequently
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
