Job Description

Under the direction of the Restaurant Manager and Supervisor(s), is responsible for timely, efficient, accurate service for restaurant patrons and their dining experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Reports for scheduled events on time, in proper uniform, with a neat and clean personal appearance
  • Reports to assigned area in a timely manner
  • Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times
  • Fulfills opening and closing duties as dictated by management
  • Greets and seats guests in a timely, efficient and professional manner
  • Handles phone calls/reservations, manages the dining room seating, and assists colleagues and guests
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment
  • Communicates with Supervisors and Management with any issues or concerns
  • Works as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the club and stadium
  • Performs and successfully completes tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have two (2) to three (3) years working in a fast-paced bar or restaurant
  • Positive attitude and professionalism required
  • Must be pleasant, courteous, and enjoy working with people
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service
  • Must be able to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
  • Must be able to obtain RBS (alcohol) Certification
  • Must be willing to work hours that vary, according to the event schedule
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
