As the Host/Hostess of our breakfast restaurant, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a warm, welcoming, and elegant dining experience each morning. You will ensure each guest is greeted promptly, seated comfortably, and attended to with genuine hospitality that reflects The Ritz-Carlton’s legendary service standards.
Job Responsibility:
Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, using guest names whenever possible
Manage and coordinate reservations and walk-in seating to optimize guest satisfaction and dining flow
Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and introducing them to their server
Maintain an accurate waitlist and provide realistic wait time estimates with courtesy and professionalism
Handle guest concerns or complaints with poise and professionalism
Support restaurant operations during peak periods, including assisting with to-go orders or table resets when needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in restaurant or food & beverage management within luxury hospitality, ideally with breakfast or fine dining service
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
A genuine passion for guest satisfaction and service excellence
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with early-morning operations
Deep understanding of luxury dining standards and attention to detail
Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a guest service role preferred
luxury hospitality experience a plus
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished and professional demeanor
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Availability and flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
A passion for hospitality, a genuine smile, and a dedication to exceeding guest expectations are essential
