Job Description:

Host/ess for The Merchant Room, a fine-dining New American Brasserie at Four Seasons Naples. The role involves greeting and seating guests, coordinating reservations, and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction in a refined, ocean-view terrace dining environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet and seat guests
  • Coordinate guest reservations
  • Respond to inquiries
  • Anticipate the needs of guests
  • Recognize regular guests by name
  • Inspect and maintain daily menus
  • Develop a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials
  • Comply with work rules and standards of conduct
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • Complete special projects as instructed
  • Ensure proper table set-up

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Minimum six to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or related work experience is preferred
