Job Description:

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a Hostess to join our Helios team for the Season 2026. You will ensure smooth guest arrival and seating, enhancing the lively, energetic dining environment while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Set up the host/hostess stand, review reservation book, and recommend room setup
  • Inspect dining areas and tables prior to opening
  • Develop complete working knowledge of menus, menu ingredients, and daily unavailable items
  • Assign seating according to guest preferences and service standards
  • Maintain station chart and cover count using the Open Table system
  • Handle guests without reservations and lost & found items
  • Answer telephones and take reservations according to Four Seasons standards
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond to inquiries, and ensure satisfaction
  • Collaborate with culinary, stewarding, and housekeeping teams
  • Assist with food & beverage service across all meal periods, events, and in-room dining
  • Ensure safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures are followed
  • Complete other duties or projects as assigned by Outlet Manager or Director of F&B

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Applicants must have European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece
  • Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume service is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Food handling and sanitation certification is a plus

Nice to have:

Proficiency in Greek is an advantage
