Job Responsibility:
Providing a warm, welcoming greeting to our members and their guests
Ensure that members are seated in a timely manner in accordance with The Quin service standards and ensuring high member satisfaction and an exceptional dining experience
Provides leadership and instills a culture and work environment based upon respect, providing opportunities for staff to learn, grows and develops their abilities through training of employees, creating a positive, productive working environment
Understands all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines for The Quin
Greet and seat members with a smile at appropriate tables in a timely manner
Be attentive of members’ needs
Assist in providing a pleasant dining experience
Assist in collection of credit cards from members and servers as needed
Answer the telephone/take reservations/properly inform guests of all offerings
Ensure quality control of menus regarding cleanliness and appearance
Perform opening and closing duties according to established side work checklist
Have a complete knowledge of standards of service
Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in all applicable venues
Assist servers in the servicing of guests as needed
Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of services provided
Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
Ensure overall guest satisfaction
Assist in the investigation of member complaints regarding food quality and service
Ability to assist in other related food and beverage outlets if and when required
Assume additional tasks assigned to you by your direct supervisor or any manager of The Quin that are reasonable requests
Requirements:
Experience in a hotel or restaurant experience preferred
Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work
Ability to learn and master NorthStar POS
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented, good prioritization and follow up skills
Basic understanding of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Employment Legislation
Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business
Comfortable with WORD
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal English skills, additional languages are a plus
