Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join a high-volume, premium hospitality operation based in Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong, hands-on leader with a fine-dining background who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments while maintaining exceptional standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading a brigade of 10 chefs and 4 Kitchen Porters
  • Delivering consistent, high-quality food across multiple service styles
  • Service Overview: Breakfast, lunch and dinner service
  • Daily private dining (up to 18 rooms)
  • High-volume working lunches (up to 300 covers per day)
  • Buffet service for 50–200 covers
  • Canapés and finger food for events of up to 200 guests
  • Family-style buffets and structured banqueting
  • Fine dining programme delivering approximately 100 covers per week

Requirements

  • Proven senior-level fine dining experience within high-volume, complex kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and manage large teams
  • Confidence delivering consistent quality under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
