10 years’ experience in conveyor maintenance & belt slicing
C Class Drivers’ Licence
Mechanical Trade Qualification
Previous experience in a people management role
Ability to plan and lead team activities to make sure they are completed safely, efficiently, on budget and within expected time frames
Experience with maintenance activities on a mineral processing plant or similar with a good knowledge of conveyor belts and assemblies

Job Responsibility

Drive and comply to the Company Occupational Hazard Management Plan
Support critical maintenance and servicing activities for fixed plant equipment during plant shutdowns and breakdowns
Regularly inspect and audit the workplace / workshop
Report any defects immediately and rectify were safe and practical
Order, receive and maintain stock of general consumables and personal protective equipment at the necessary levels to support safe effective field operation
Provide formal summary reports on completion of each scope of work to operations and field services management
